Culture of Solidarity – EUNIC Ukraine Fund 2022 is an initiative in partnership with the European Cultural Foundation (ECF) with core financing led by the Goethe-Institut and with additional contributions from several EUNIC members aiming to promote the visibility and embeddedness of Ukrainian culture across Europe.

This year's EUNIC Cluster Fund Call features a special focus on projects supporting and empowering youth through cultural initiatives.

The EUNIC Cluster Fund is celebrating its 10th anniversary. On this occasion, EUNIC has commissioned a research taking a closer look at the development of the cluster network over the years.

A jury of six experts has shortlisted eleven project ideas for European Spaces of Culture to be developed into concrete projects for 2023.

EUNIC held its General Assembly on 23 and 24 June in Munich. The network engaged in discussion, amongst others, about the war in Ukraine and the future of international cultural relations, common approaches and actions, and developments in the EUNIC cluster network. Members also elected a new Board of Directors and welcomed the three new EUNIC clusters in Barcelona, Kansai and New Zealand. The General Assembly also marked the incoming presidency of Goethe-Institut's Johannes Ebert.

EUNIC’s mobility scheme for cultural professionals enables colleagues working in the network to exchange knowledge and gain skills. Interested colleagues can apply to one of the hosting offers until 6 September 2022.

On 1 June, the AGORA, an all-day opening event, will be the formal global launch of EULAT4CULTURE, an innovative cultural diplomacy initiative by Ibero- American Cultural Network RIDCULT of the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the European External Action Service and the Spanish Presidency of EUNIC.

From 18-24 April 2022 SIN LÍMITES, Uruguay's first International Festival of Inclusive Performing Arts in Uruguay took place in Montevideo at Uruguay's National Theatre SODRE. As a pilot project for European Spaces of Culture, this project was the first project to be visited by EUNIC colleagues who joined the festival's activities and met with the festival's partners.

FAIR P(L)AY is a cycle initiated by the EUNIC cluster in the Netherlands focusing on fair practices in the cultural sector, aiming to discuss and implement new and existing ways of creating fair environments in terms of funding, remuneration, copyright and mobility in Europe.
